Terms of Service

1. The service
NEXUS Platform Inc. provides a construction-management product at nexushub.build that lets owners post projects, GCs and subs bid and manage them, and parties move escrow-style payments through the platform. We are currently in beta — features may change without notice and uptime is best-effort.
2. Account & eligibility
You must be at least 18 and have the authority to bind any business you sign up on behalf of. You're responsible for keeping credentials secret. Notify us at security@nexushub.build if you suspect compromise.
3. Fees and payments
Some plans have a monthly fee. Payment-related transactions on the platform may be subject to a platform fee (currently 5%). Exact subscription pricing appears at checkout. Stripe processes subscriptions and, only when explicitly enabled, eligible connected-account payouts. NEXUS Credits are an internal ledger and are not cash or a bank deposit.
4. AI features
AI bid scoring, work-verification, and blueprint analysis are decision-support tools — not legal, financial, or engineering advice. Always review AI output before acting on it. Outputs may be wrong.
5. Escrow disclaimer
"Smart escrow" describes milestone controls and an internal ledger; it is NOT a regulated escrow service or a representation that cash is held in a custodial bank account. Real-money movement requires a separately configured and approved payment provider and remains subject to that provider's terms and availability.
6. Acceptable use
Don't break laws, infringe other people's rights, scrape the service, upload malware, or impersonate others. We can suspend accounts that do — with refund of unused prepaid time at our discretion.
7. Your content
You retain ownership of project files, photos, and messages you upload. You grant us a license to host, process, and display them as needed to operate the service.
8. Termination
You may close your account any time at hello@nexushub.build. We may terminate or suspend with notice for material breach.
9. Disclaimers & liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
11. Changes
We'll post material changes here and email account holders before they take effect.
